This past weekend was spent prepping the ceiling for painting. At one point, this old industrial building endured a fire that destroyed some of the exposed joists. A quarter of the wood was replaced and looks great! The rest has lots of character but the paint was peeling badly. Nothing a little hard work can't fix! Samuel and Ben spent all of Sunday scraping the ceiling of what will soon be the taproom and bar area.
With perfect timing, Albert (the taproom puppy!) and I showed up about halfway through just as the pizza was delivered!
We have a busy week full of meetings and finalizing the floor plans. Construction is scheduled to start soon and we can't wait!
